山東大學光電子科學與技術研究中心地處青島市藍色硅谷核心區，以國家實施創新驅動發展等重大戰略需求為依據，以國際前沿微納光電子技術發展趨勢為導向，發揮山東大學青島校區的地緣優勢，吸引高端光電子人才，圍繞光電子芯片和光電集成打造一個獨具特色的半導體芯片加工、表征、封裝和測試平臺，支撐青島地區高校、研究所和產業的高端科研需求，建設多層次微納光電子專業人才培養的新模式，輻射帶動地區光電子產業經濟發展。

The Micro/Nano Photoelectronic Technology and Science Center (PTSC) in Shandong University is established in the core area of Blue Silicon Valley in Qingdao City, and constructed toeing the guideline of National strategic demand for technology innovation. The center focuses on the development of advanced photoelectric technology and leads the trend of photoelectronics research and market. With merits of the geographic advantages of Qingdao economic area, the center is going to act the leading roles in talents introducing with research background at high-end photoelectronics, developing the technology platform covering advanced manufacture, characterization, packaging and testing for universities, research institutes and enterprises at Qingdao City. Professional training services is provided to train the students, technicians for local SMEs to promote the development of the photoelectronic industry vehemently within/beyond Qingdao City.
